I swear I'm getting smarter. Every day it seems like I'm learning a new way to lock myself out of the car. This morning/afternoon/evening, as I was rushing to get to work/school/the grocery store, I did it again! I stuffed my keys on the front seat and then shut the door behind me. Of course/Needless to say/Naturally, I stood there for a moment dumbfounded at the car, discovering that I was locked out.
- So here's/it is/that's what I did:
- Tried the window, to no avail.
- Called my husband/friend/neighbor. Luckily, they were able to come rescue me
Maybe next time I'll be more attentive about where I put my keys. Or maybe I'll just start wearing a spare set on me at all times.
Stuck Outside: My Car is Locked Solid
I can't believe this is happening. It is/was/has been a perfect/terrible/rough day, and now my car decided/chose/went to lock me out/turn against me/become an enemy. I've tried everything/all the tricks/different solutions, but the door won't budge/refuses to open/remains steadfastly shut. My keys are safely inside, of course. It's like my car has become/is possessed by/is playing a cruel joke on me. I'm stuck/trapped/confined outside with no way to get in.
This is definitely/absolutely/totally not how I planned/envisioned/imagined spending the rest/remainder/leftover of my day. Maybe/Perhaps/Hopefully someone will see me and be able to help. If not, I guess it's time to call a tow truck/seek assistance/wait for rescue.
Imprisoned! (And I Need Help!)
It happened so fast. One minute I was/I am/I'd been just living my life/going about my day/being myself, the next I was locked/the door slammed shut/everything went dark.
